2009: Grade A in A-level Spanish with studies in Cusco, Peru π΅πͺ and Granada, Spain πͺπΈ.
2011: Accepted into SOAS, University of London - one of the world's leading languages universities to study 2 non-European languages (Arabic and Somali).
2012: Became Languages Ambassador at 'Routes into Languages', delivering Spanish and Arabic workshops in over 100 secondary schools.
2015: Graduated with BA Arabic with studies in Egypt πͺπ¬ and Al-Najah University, Nablus π΅πΈ.
2015: Accepted into the prestigious education graduate scheme: Teach First.
2016: Authored the Self Study Program: Arabic in 60 Steps and began creating Arabic and Somali languages resources, gaining sponsorship from Italki and other leaders in the languages learning space.
2017: Languages videos and podcasts reached over 1 million students.
2020: Co-Founded 'The Silent Horn Foundation', an NGO for Deaf people in Somalia πΈπ΄ π§π».
2023: Hired as Academy Lead at Ed Tech Company 'Arabic Unlocked' and saw the app reach 1 million downloads.
2024: To date has created over 2,500 languages resources, Co-Authored the world's first Somali Sign language reference work and serves as a volunteer at 'TSHF Deaf school' in Mogadishu, Somalia. All while coaching hundreds of Muslims to transform their relationship with the Qur'an through the Arabic language.
Despite 'not being cut out for languages' and being categorised dyslexic throughout his education, Sam now speaks Spanish, British Sign Language, Arabic and Somali.
